Welcome to our Web site!The Choctaw Central High School Team is preparing to participate in the 2007 Dell-Winston Solar Car Challenge. The competition was founded in 1993 and is the only solar car competition open exclusively to high school teams. This year the international high school solar car race will include 14 teams from across the nation, Puerto Rico,, and India. This year’s race is a cross- country race from Round Rock, Texas, to West Point, New York. Our Team consists of 16 members with 4 mentors, Mr. Joey Long, Mr. David M. Gonzalez, Mrs. Liddia Hughes, and Mr. Jason Roberson. We are students at Choctaw Central High School and have built our Solar Car, Tushka Hashi III, at our Occupational Training Center. The center and High School is located at the Choctaw Indian Reservation, Choctaw, MS.
